Everything5Pounds Review | Is It Worth It?

I love a bargain! That's not new news to anyone. So when 'Everything5Pounds' offered to let me choose some items of clothing from their website to review, I jumped at the chance. I wanted to see for myself what this site was really about.

To be honest, when I first heard about Everything5Pounds, I was skeptical to say the least. I envisioned a sketchy warehouse operating out of a backstreet in China. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. I mean, jeans for £5? Shoes for £5? Dresses for £5?! It sounds too good to be true!

But it turns out Everything5Pounds sell clothes from retailers we know and love like Boohoo, ASOS and Quiz...just at a major discount. And who doesn't love a discount?

Plus, for a further discount, Everything5Pounds have given me a coupon code for you guys to use to give you an extra 5% off your order! Just enter AIMEE5 at the checkout. Hurray!

Anyway, on with the review...

Firstly, I got a cut-out shoulder floral top.

The top is sheer, but not entirely see-through so that I feel comfortable just wearing a little bandeau top underneath. The fit it absolutely perfect. It falls just below my bum and flows in a very flattering way when I move. I've owned this top for less than a week and I've already worn it twice. I love it!

Next, I got a black lacy cami top.

It's from the brand Quiz (which happens to be favourite of mine) and, according to the price tag, originally sold for £19.99. Hello bargain!

The quality is excellent. The top has a silky soft lining and the lace around the bottom and at the chest area is absolutely beautiful. It's sexy, but conservative. I think this top paired with some skinny jeans and a pair of killer heels would be a show stopper.

I also chose a really sweet floral collared dress.

Just look at that print! It's so cute! The only disappointing thing about the dress is that it's just a little too tight for me. I'm usually a size 8 so I ordered a SMALL, but, for the sake of my boobs and arms, I could have done with a MEDIUM.

That's definitely something to keep in mind when ordering from Everything5Pounds. Because they sell a variety of different brands on their site, your size might vary from one piece of clothing to the next, depending on what brand it is. The item listings don't state what brand the item of clothing is so you kind of have to take a chance, but I guess there's a certain element of sizing Russian Roulette whenever you order clothing online, regardless of the website.

Overall, I'm impressed with Everything5Pounds. It definitely exceeded my expectations and knowing they stock brands like Quiz inspires me with a lot of confidence in the quality of their clothing. They have a huge amount of choice and I'll definitely be using the site again in future.

  1. Interesting!! I've considered ordering from them for a while. Being a size 20, though, I didn't even bother checking if they had my size because they likely don't, I fall into plus size sections! Thank you for telling us your honest opinions. Is it free P&P? xx

    1. Thanks for your comment! They have a plus size section so it's worth having a look. P&P isn't free though. I hate paying for postage on any online orders, but I guess since the clothes are so cheap it's only fair xx
